You know, the more I think about it, the more I feel like YT politics is an absolute shitshow. You can venture in with the purest intentions and attempt to make sense of all the noise being projected from either side, but it's really not something you want to stick with. I mean, I've met some great people throughout all of it, but it truly is the home of the unhinged. So here's what I want to do: I'm going to distance myself further and further from purely politically oriented videos and fall back on general social commentary, interviews and gaming. The shit I enjoyed from the very beginning. Courting the political audience has been anxiety inducing and I'm entirely done with it; I wanna go back to creating content that keeps people entertained. You signed up for a chill time, so I'd like to show you a chill time. Hope to see some of you at VidCon. Edit: I’m also tired of hearing people get upset about my motivations. The way I look at it, if someone like Jake Paul is allowed to exist, if other people who operate solely on fame are allowed to exist, then why the fuck can’t I try to make something happen for myself on this platform? Fuck anyone that has a problem with me growing my channel and making money.
